FAQ

How do I get my bass to you? +
We offer pickup and delivery in the Phoenix metro area — your bass never has to leave the comfort of your home. We also accept drop-off and ship-in instruments. Contact us to arrange the most convenient option.
What is your turnaround time? +
Standard repairs and setups are typically completed in 3–5 business days. Complex work such as refrets or electronics overhauls may take 5–7 days. Custom builds are quoted individually. We will always give you a realistic timeline before starting any work.
Do you work on guitars as well as basses? +
Bass is our specialty and primary focus. We do accept guitar work for setups, fret polishing, and basic electronics but our expertise and passion is in bass guitar specifically.
What does a setup include? +
A full setup includes neck relief adjustment, action adjustment at the bridge, intonation check and correction, pickup height optimization, nut slot check, fret end inspection, fretboard conditioning, hardware tightening, and a final playability check. We set up to your preferred string gauge — let us know when you book.
What hardware and electronics do you recommend? +
For hardware we recommend Hipshot bridges and tuners for their USA-made quality and precision. For pickups we work extensively with EMG, Seymour Duncan, and Dylan Talks Tone handwound pickups. For active electronics the John East preamp is our top recommendation. Happy to discuss options for your specific instrument and playing style.
Do you offer custom builds? +
Yes — we build custom bass guitars from raw wood blanks. You choose the tonewoods, hardware, electronics, fretboard material, inlays, and finish. Each build is a collaboration. Custom builds start at $2,500 and require a 50% deposit to begin. Contact us to start the conversation.
